Last week we had Jason go home, Cece survive the sing-off and Tate ranked first. This week, all acts must perform a song by a diva. Here are the highlights of this episode:
Carly Rose sings "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion, which is beautiful, along with Diamond's performance of "Halo" by Beyoncé. I swear these 2 have the best voices in the competition. Emblem 3 does a Beatles song which is CHEATING but then again their mentor is Simon and he can do whatever he wants. Jennel goes back to her old self and does a wonderful job, but I am disappointed with Lyric 145. In fact, I'm disappointed with all of Simon's acts tonight.
Important Announcement: The girl group is officially named "Fifth Harmony."
Cece sings "All By Myself" which once again isn't that great. I don't understand why Cece always does amazing in the sing off but never as well in the actual performance. Paige and Arin's performances didn't stick out to me, and Beatrice sang "Time After Time," which I'm sorry, but it's hard to even think she's competing against someone like Carly Rose and Diamond. It's just not the same level AT ALL. And she wears a hat that says "YOLO." Ugh. Vino and Tate both did a nice job.
Tomorrow is a double elimination, and only 10 acts will remain. I think Cece will be gone, and I wish Beatrice will too but I have a feeling she'll just barely get by. We'll just have to wait and see!
